Our Sustainability Initiatives
Comprehensive environmental practices across all aspects of our operations
Electricity
At Riverbridge House, we only use 100% green energy. Through our partnership with FCT's energy consortium, we receive low-rate electricity certified by REGO (Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin).
Renewable sources: solar, wind, and hydro
We have implemented cutting-edge commercial energy monitoring technology through EMMA AI, allowing us to track live energy usage, identify wastage, and generate detailed carbon reports.
Lighting
In 2022 we converted all building lighting to LED technology - a simple choice for maximum efficiency.
LED benefits: Less heat, more light, lower cost. Worldwide, around 20% of electricity is consumed in lighting.
Waste Management
We use a comprehensive mixed recycling waste service that collects paper, card, plastic, cans, food waste, batteries, and ink cartridges in separate, specialized collections.
General waste goes to Energy from Waste facilities
This provides a sustainable recycling solution that greatly improves recycling performance, is cost-effective and environmentally-friendly.
Building Works
Our clients can tailor their offices to their requirements, and in line with our green credentials, all our contractors are F.S.C. accredited.
Materials traced from forest to end user
Being FSC® certified means that materials have been traced at every stage - from the forest to the end user. By purchasing FSC® products, we ensure they come from well-managed forests with high ethical standards.
